As a food vendor, you are invited to apply to set up a facility and sell items at the Mill Race Folk Festival.

A limited number of spaces are available - last year about 10 food vendors participated in the event.

The festival is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors during three days of activities, from Friday, July 30 through Sunday, August 1.

CONDITIONS

1. Registration and fee:
- The $200 registration fee entitles you to maintain your facility on Friday evening through Sunday evening. When your registration is approved, the fee becomes nonrefundable.
- You will receive confirmation of your registration by mail, email or phone.

2. How registration works:
- Please complete the "starter application" below and email or mail it to us as soon as possible. The City of Cambridge will prepare and mail you the business licence application. Along with that, you will receive instructions relating to insurance, hydro availability, food handling requirements and fire department regulations. The process of obtaining a business licence normally takes several weeks.

3. Deadlines:
- If you want your vendor's information listed in the programme for the festival, the deadline is May 1. The programme is on sale during the festival - about 1,400 copies were sold last year. The information in the programme normally includes your vendor's name, products sold, address, phone number and email address.
- Applications received after May 1 will still be accepted, as long as space is available.

4. Restrictions:
- Tables, chairs and tents are not provided

5. Check-in and check out:
- Check-in time is Friday, July 30 between 5 and 7 p.m. Please report to the Cambridge Centre for the Arts, 60 Dickson St, Cambridge (it's close to City Hall)
- The setup of displays must be completed by Friday, 7 p.m.
- Vendors can dismantle their facilities any time after Sunday (August 1), 5 p.m. and no later than 11 p.m.
