The Mill Race Festival features traditional forms of folk music and dance from a variety of world cultures. 

 
CONTEMPORARY SINGER/SONGWRITERS DO NOT MEET OUR REQUIREMENTS. 

If you are a performer whose repertoire represents an existing
 historical world culture, such as British Isles, Latin, Caribbean, 
Chinese, Middle Eastern, African etc. you may be eligible for 
consideration.  New music in traditional style is acceptable, 
as traditions must be living in order to survive.  Even in such 
acts, a fair amount of public domain traditional material is 
advised.
